Evelyn looked to her mother, her eyes full of worry.

"Just leave him." Elizabeth said. "He just needs to be alone."

Yuki collapsed back against the bed.

"Anything I can do for you?" Mori asked, frowning at Elizabeth.

Taro sat down beside Yuki and leant down to give him a small kiss, layinig down beside him. "Go to sleep." He said in a quiet laugh.

Elizabeth smiled at him. "It'll be okay. Just, we should all get some rest."

Yuki closed his eyes and faked a snore.

"Well get some." Mori said, concerned. Nobody could take news like that. "I'm up, nobody will come tramping in."

"Moron." Taro murmured, smiling to himself.

Yuki smiled and slowly started to sleep.

Elizabeth smiled. "Thank you." She went to bed, and Evelyn to hers.

Mori grunted in response and sat on a chair, laying his sword on the table and running a hand over his face.

Elizabeth lay down and held her exhausted son close. She fell to sleep

Mori watched as the sun crept through the tattered curtains of the main room, eyes half closed. He hadn't realized how tired he was, but he didn't want to sleep on their first night back, and he wasn't taking any chances that would cause more problems for the family.

Elizabeth had already done the unthinkable and spoken to him. Yuki, he was unsure about, and Taro... He didn't think that talking to him was a good idea. He hadn't felt so misplaced for as long as he could remember. He rested his face in his hands and sighed.

Taro curled up against Yuki, fighting wakefullness and burying his head in the demon's shoulder.

Elizabeth lent in and rubbed Mori's shoulders. "Go get some sleep. I'm up now."

Yuki whined at the movment cming from next to him.

"How are you?" Mori asked, looking up and to Elizabeth.

---

Taro made a small noise in the back of his throat, lying still.

"Been better." Elizabeth said honestly. "Take my bed alright, just rest there."

Yuki opened his eyes slowly. "God... messy room."

"Might have a nap." Mori conceded, standing up and grimacing in concern at Elizabeth. "Just yell if you want me to do anything, I'll start getting this place clean in a bit."

Taro ran a hand over his face. "Urgh. Why couldn't they just pillage without the mess?"

Elizabeth nodded. "I will."

---

Yuki shrugged and left a pause. "You're cleaning."

Mori nodded and thanked Elizabeth as he walked past. He tugged off his shoes and dropped down on the bed. Within a short period of time he was dozing.

"Am not." Taro responded, smiling slightly. "If I recall correctly, I tidied up the day before they came past. That makes it your turn."

Rhun emerged from his room, only reason being he seriously needed a drink. And some food.

Elizabeth watched her son closely.

---

"Yours." Yuki said.

Rhun muttered a 'morning', grabbing a chunk of bread from the cupboard. He felt bad about turning his temper on his mum the night before. But he didn't really feel like getting stuck in a conversation.

"Don't make me bite you." Taro said into Yuki's shoulder. "Yours."

Elizabeth smiled. "Morning."

"Bite me and I bite you."

Taro made a noise of frustration. "Okay, half house each?"

Rhun nodded and ate the bread. "Can I go out? Walk?" He asked glumly. "Or do I need to help?"

"deal." Yuki grinned.

---

"You need to help." Elizabeth said. "But you ca walk for awhile if you want."

Taro rolled his eyes and sat up, running a hand through his hair. "I'm up." He got changed, and then dismally looked around the room. Bits and pieces of everything were strewn everywhere. It was amazing that so much had survived.

"Thanks." Rhun left the house and made for the beach.
